SC500 conrods was created by Herbie J
Hi there
Looking to see if there are any after market conrod kits available for SC500 (either year) or if another fits out of another model?
Thanks

Welcome from NZ.
I researched the other day when you first asked, but my usual way of searching failed.
Thought maybe DT360A or MX360 might be the same as run the same 70mm stroke except with a bore i could get my hand down at work back in the day of the SC.
Had a habit of seizing because people would persist in leaning out the midrange then screech to a halt on fast straights when rolling back the throttle.
Anyway, sorry i'm no help.
Someone might know the center to center & bigend width measurements to then cross reference.

HERBIEJ check this out as doesn't say it isn't available, or i'm not seeing that bit.
Then go to the crank pin & other bigend bits.
I guess it'll be "A Fail" but fingers crossed.

I did a lot of searching too... came up empty.
With dimensions as RT325 said, probably a chance of finding something that will work? In the UK especially, I'd try PJME (but I'd try them anyway even if I wasn't in the UK.)
Speed and Sport in Pennsylvania often has hard to find parts though unfortunately their website hasn't been great for a while (I haven't checked them lately). But they have always been great about email and phone inquiries.
Other sources could be members DEET and Enduronut who both often have some hard to find parts.

Speed and Sport in Bloomsburg PA shows the rod itself as available... Not sure about the bearings, pins, thrust washers, etc. You'll have to check with them.
