Does anyone recognise this logo/trademark? was created by Gr8uncleal

And also which manufacturer(s) used their coils? I've acquired a few of them.

The wire colours are orange with a white stripe, and white.

Many thanks.

My best guess is Tanaka/Hitachi

I think all the Japanese manufacturers used similar coils on their "battery ignition" models...  Kawasaki definitely did.

Thanks Mark.

No luck on those two. I might have to search using the wire colours.

What are you looking for Alan?  What they fit?  Or who the manufacturer is?

Both, Mark!

An internet/fleabay search of the make and model of the coil (eg TEC FL... for Honda) will often also throw up which model(s) it fitted.

They came to me in a big box of mixed electrics and are just for resale.

Thanks.

Looks like a Kawasaki coil to me.  Once tinkered with one on a broken down old Kawasaki trail bike over the pit stacks.  Over 40 years ago so cannot remember the model, ( might have been a 250, it was not a little 90 or 100cc) but that is what immediately sprang to mind when I saw your pic.

Thanks, I'll check out CMSNL, fleabay etc.

Update.

Yes, look like early Kawasakis used these style of coils.

Research to date leads me to think that the logo is for Kokusan and, as a lot of you probably already know, whose parts were used by Kawasaki and Suzuki.
