From back in the "60's.
Someone found these pics in NZ & put them up on a site asking "Who Where When".
Was me!! haha on my Methanol burning BSA 500 B33 cast iron monster & pic i've never seen before.
Hope they don't come up too small.
Sorry if i've already put these up added to another post, but dont think so.

RT, were you around the gentleman that was the “fastest Indian”? I realize it has nothing to do with these enduro’s, but perhaps, it can be tied into them thru you?

I see Burt Munro died in 1978 age 78 & I just realised I'm 78. Should I be worried,--I'm worried!!. I'd say anyone keen on bikes used to follow his progress with admiration back in the day. Invercargil is at the bottom of the south island so a very long way from where I am. They hold a festival down there every year called "The Munro Challenge" with a street race. A speedway event. A hill climb. And of course a beach race, plus drag racing, & maybe more. Popular event that brings riders from all around NZ & from around the world too.
Photos of mine in link up top could've been from this day.

Wow Morley you were killing it! They used the term "invaded" those races. Out ran them all.

Thanks guys. Yeah funny looking back. Fuel bowl couldn't keep up as float valve wouldn't flow enough for the half mile straights on full song on methanol. Ended up with no float or float needle. No main jet & probably no slide needle before I found float valve wouldn't flow enough but without float needle it kept up. So effectively just folded the rubber fuel hose over until the flag dropped or it poured out the tickler--anyone remember ticklers haha. So the fuel tap--fuel cock--became the main jet. Perfect jetting for full throttle.
