1980 dt125 carb rebuild was created by jtb605a

HI everyone , just got my carb parts and replaced needle valve assembly and jets along with slide needle. Still weeping a little. When blowing into fuel line and rotating carb to upside down position it seems to function okay. Runs decent except for a sputter when coming off low throttle. Kit did not come with a new float. Have had needle clip in every position I think. Any thoughts ? Thanks in advance.

Are you using aftermarket kit jets and slide needle or original Mikuni?

Did you set float level correctly?

Mikuni parts  21mm float setting. After running for a while it finally started sealing off like it should , I then set the clip and hit. The spot.  Hey if you get a chance to look for those gas tanks I'd probably be interested in one   thanks

Did your factory jet needle have the 5 position setting on your 1980 DT125G?
When I bought my 1980 dt175G the jet needle that was in my carb only has 1 setting.
