The Connie. was created by Tinkicker

Easily the most beautiful aircraft ever made in my book.
I love round engines and those R3350s are in a different league.
I was once lucky enough to see the super connie that John Travolta once owned, start up at close quarters, taxi out and takeoff. 
This would be an airshow in the early 90s at BAE Warton.

What a visceral feeling.  Once witnessed, never forgotten.

Beautiful and magnificent plane. I always go to a special place when hearing prop planes above. Was this the plane used to fly Kurt off to college in AG??

Super I took from Montreal to Boston was beautiful, noisy as hell back in the 60's.

Allegany? Eastern? I was too young to remember the airline.
