Right fuel for my DT 250 was created by AXLE1

Hi there
can you advise me of correct fuel for my Dt250 in live in central Scotland the bike is running fine on Aspen at the moment but is there better alternative?

It should run ok on standard E5.

Various parts will suffer if the bike is left with E5 in the tank and carb, so you might want to drain all of it from those parts. Alternatively, look for recommendations on one or more of the additives now available. I have just started using the one shown in the link below, although it is too early to comment on its effectiveness, and I think member Tinkicker posted on a product that worked for him. Others should chime in as well with their views.

I run Esso 99 Supreme in all my vintage bikes during the riding season and store overwinter using Aspen 2stroke mix, sloshing it around the tank and carb, then draining it out again and storing dry.  Leaves a slightly oily residue throughout the fuel system for corrosion protection.
