I was able get Ol' Deets box opened up!

It is always a thrill unpacking and pulling the Crown Jewels out of the box!!

Ok with those pretty new gauges starring at me...

Certainly could not resist to go sit them on the bike to check it out!

Holy crap- are these things cool and takes this bike to another level! SO AWESOME!!

I am not a big fan of the FLAT black paint/pipe on these bikes as the satin finish provided by the Krylon BBQ is my favorite....

BUT.... I have to say with the theme that is going on with this bike- The Flat black looks awesome and provides that perfect contrast and performance look that is needed for sure.... Not changing a thing here!

Also, I have been thinking about the stock 360 tag that was on the heat shield and just does not look right....

So I went digging in my parts stash and found a nice 360 tag that was on the RT3 Oil tanks. I really like the shape and depth of this and will add another nice touch to this bike.

Will decide if there is opportunity to add another little splash of color to make it really pop.

Will need to match the color with the tank stripe color but you get the idea-

Work continues...

The Chrome headlight ring just did not look right with all of the black on this bike... So went to work with my ScotchBrite pad and prepped it for a little Krylon BBQ Paint.

Baked it twice and paint is solid and has the perfect finish!

Going with a new Halogen Headlight with a replaceable bulb- Should work and look awesome!

Cables are all now painted black... This was a big cost savings vs. buying new cables and the paint really holds up well with the proper preparation to the casing and using Krylon BBQ paint in two stages.
