Thought some of you would find this interesting to look at.  I was going to use a borescope, but a cut off wheel was more fun!
The goal is to sand blast, metal work, paint in Geneva Green, leak test, then probably give a way.  Hopefully its not too far gone.

Is this a 76 250? I think so.




I wasn't aware of this metal supportive structure internally.  The metal is thin, so maybe a way to prevent gravity lock from blocking the line w/oil.  Docs indicate
autolube does not suck, is gravity fed.











 

Likely a 1975 oil tank...  1976 models only said "Enduro" on oil tank and exhaust shield emblems.  

Just noticed there is a filter by the drain. going to cut away the filter before assembly.
