Did you get new seat foam as well, or are you stretching it over the original foam?

I’ve done them both ways and new seat foam is more of a challenge than covering the original foam. Hopefully you got a decent seat cover because I’ve bought cheap ones that simply wouldn’t pull with enough wrap around to even get close to the clips. The stitching gave way in the process.
I’ve done around 4 or 5 seat covers and don’t really have a set method. Last one I did was my 250 and I bought the seat cover from KDI and it fit like a glove over my original foam. I put plastic film over the foam so that the cover slides across the foam instead of gripping the foam. I just cut it from a trash bag. Makes it a lot easier. I stretched the entire cover into position all around and then clipped the front first and worked my way along both sides toward the back. My wife helped for an extra set of hands to hold the material in the clip before clinching them down.
Be patient and you’ll get it on.
some people warm the cover with a hair dryer or let it set in sun to soften up a bit.
