I noticed that too. I was wondering if it is a mirrored image photo, but the lettering views correctly.

Found a really nice Bassani pipe for my GT80. Man my stock pipe must’ve been clogged up bad because now this little GT runs like I would’ve expected it to run, but it never did, until now.

Sounds nice & sharp--i'll go read back later-- but if its a well used pipe --not new--the packing in the end baffle might've gone. Looks the part too!!, very nice.

I pulled the insert and checked the fiberglass packing. It was in good shape. I did unroll the outside layer and found it was like new inside with the packing still being all white.

My original stock pipe is probably a mess inside. It weighed about as much as my big bore exhausts!

Thanks for the update.
Maybe just me but possibly best to unwrap it so the inner part against the perforated tube is visible as likely carbon sealed. Middle could still look good in that case & outer will look 'used' because it tries to blow past the outside with gas trying to get out anywhere it can make a gap. Not meaning the baffle or perforated tube is blocked but gas is in a hurry to escape anywhere it can. I dunno, me just woffling lol.
Good idea to replace regularly, just saying.
Good little bike those. Oh to be a kid again.

What's the pegs on the rear shock bottom bolt [passenger], looks like wheelie pegs for standing on.

Not sure what the story is with those rear shock pegs. They were on the bike when I bought it. I plan to remove them some day. They could be painful if you take a spill and get speared!
