RT2 not starting was created by Grumman41

I started my RT2 about two weeks ago, I tried to start it a few days ago and no start. It has points but I don’t know any background on the engine, the bike appears to be very stock. It’s getting fuel to the carb and the plug has a fairly decent looking spark when I checked it. The two years I’ve owned it has always started first or second kick. This kinda surprised me, what do think guys?

Take the plug out & push it around in gear but ignition OFF. It'll make a mess if its got a case full of fuel but will get rid of most of it. Then hold throttle open & kick wih no choke & fuel off for a try. If that don't work then i'm wrong again.

First thing I do for a bike or any engine that won't start is replace the spark plug.
The hours spent riding my Enduros is not deducted from my life span.
