I’ve got quite a few photos on photobucket, I can download pic individually but I don’t think I can download a hole album at once. Any ideas, would like to get all my pic off that site.
Thanks Mark

If you are using Chrome, there is this extension that lets you download each album as zip files. I think it cost me $2, but we’ll worth it!

Every picture regardless of size and where loaded from (phone or laptop) loads upside down. I even tried flipping them upside down on my laptop thinking they would right side up... they do not. Am I doing something wrong?

Known issue. I'm pretty sure the size is too big and the "auto reducing" software flips the photos. 58MB is not very big.

Happens to me if I try to use a cell phone or modern camera photo. I have an old camera that takes "internet size" pictures and they work fine.

With larger photos I simply open them on my computer and use the Windows "snipping tool" to save a copy. Never had one of those act up.

It’s actually not a size issue. It has to do with how many mobile photos are encoded. I’m not techie enough to explain, but it is related to the orientation of the phone when the photo was taken. The only solution I have found which seems to work all the time is to put onto your computer, open the file, re-save it ( no need to downsize but you can) and then upload.

I wish I had a better answer.

Ok, after some research last night I got an actual answer to why this is happening, Makotosun is right it has to do with the way mobile phones encode the pics. Whats happening is when you turn the phone sideways to take pics (at least with apple phones) the phone uses the location of the volume buttons to create a universal "baseline". If you are an apple user you need to turn the phone for landscape photos so the volume buttons are down, this will prevent them from being rotated when uploaded to a site that cannot interpret Apple's baseline code. If you are left handed like me, well you're in the minority and tech companies do not care...

Thanks Rusty-

I've been getting frustrated with that one. I will try to do that from now on and see if it helps. :Buds

I have been getting emails from PhotoBucket asking if I want to keep my pictures possibly from 2014 or before? I am going to subscribe to this thread “if it becomes necessary to use that service?” I do not post too many pictures as I tend to be long winded and over-explain.

you are always free to link to photos hosted elsewhere, as I continue to search for a solution that will work long term. Again, thanks for the ongoing support and patience.
