Can anyone please direct me to the information regarding uploading an avatar photo as I've not been able to. I did join Imgur but editing doesnt seem to make it work.

All direct photo uploads to this site are broken... Yes, you can link to Imgur photos in your posts...  Avatars are stored on the site so they don't work right now and there's no way to use an outside host for an avatar as far as I know.

I did go looking but could not find anything that successfully explained how to do it.
