I am looking to collect as many pictures of the various racks and the models they fit so we can set up a reference page for folks.

If you have a FACTORY rack, please post up a good clear pic, preferable both from the side and maybe top and rear, and if you can include some measurements that will be helpful. Specify the model it is on, or if it is not on anything, your best guess of what it goes to. If you know what BRAND it is, that is worth extra points. The points don't mean much but you will get more of them the better info you post Throttle

If you have an AFTERMARKET rack, we are looking for those too - what they look like, what they fit, etc. At this point custom built stuff is OK to post, but will likely not be included in the reference page.

this is going to be a great thread. Alot of the bigger bore bikes are rare to find the racks. With the measurements, we can re-make our own and zinc plate it, chrome plate, powdercoat, paint, etc. OnFire

Optional factory rack for 1974-1976 DT 250, 360, 400 Confirmed. May fit later DT 250's and RT 360's. I will update if someone can confirm.

Here are some photos. I won this and the guy sent it to the wrong person. I have since bought 2, but I don't have a buddy seat. I will try to post measurements later this week.

You realize you have posted two of the variants of the big bore rack? What I believe to be the earlier model (I think designed for the 73 models) is this one:

While the one designed for the 74-76 models was this one:

I have seen (and your pictures show) both with or without a seat attached. I don't know if they were sold in two versions, or iff the ones without the seat were ones that folks just removed the seat. The one I have has a seat, which when removed, leaves either 4 or 6 mount holes in the rack.

The rear mount points of the two racks are slightly different, with the later models having the longer bit with the flat iron attachment point, while the earlier had a hole thorough the round stock (flattened where it mounted.) Here is a sales tag from the latter, denoted as an RT/DT version.

I think they actually may be slightly different in size and mounting point location as the earlier DT/RT was a different frame than the 74-76 DT series. I don't have two here I can compare, but I think if you look at that rear mount and assume the one pictured on the tag is for the earlier model (at least for the 73) you would be correct.

If anybody needs one, I have one for my RT-3 that I never mounted, and it's WITH the seat. Let me know if you want it.
