Cleaned again. Every piece apart.
soaked in simple green then boiling water..

Fouled Up when i dropped the pilot into the overflow. I drilled it out carefully.

This is what the simple green and boiling water took out, along with a good power air nozzle

If you look you can see lots of crap.
We shall know in ten minutes

So many times it's just the carb needs cleaning...  maybe a few times.

P.S.  Choke jet RT325 mentioned is at bottom of well in float bowl.

I was careful and ran a thin wire there...and blew it out good.

starts good, idles okay, sputters still

Could I be getting too much oil mix? Too much putt putt and not enough going for a good rip?

You have made no mention of removing the needle jet and cleaning that out .
They can collect crap around the chamber it slots into .

I think the question was if you removed the main brass main nozzle aka needle jet from the carb body?

I'm also confused on the issue.  The videos show it idling, right?

P.S.  Is plug gapped 0.020" to 0.024"?  Running non-resistor plug or a non-resistor cap?

Again, I'm not sure what you're looking for?  Are you expecting it to idle when cold like a computer controlled fuel injected engine?

It idles okay, but sputters and spits when going down the road. Lacks power.

I'm a page behind, but the spark arrestor shown is part of the end piece looking at the parts list. If i hadn't looked i would have said its spot welds have let go deep down in the tail of the exhaust. But now looks like its welds have let go on the pipe shown, or been cut off. Can leave it out, but with rules on spark arrestors for you guys it might pay to weld it back on as at least it'll come out with the tail pipe to be cleaned as stray carbon lumps can get caught in them & instant horsepower loss. Not sure if it would have to be set at a certain position to line up with something but doubt it. It probably just fits closely down in there. Have a good look with a light.
