I am leaning towards the chassis black at this point. I have used that several times in several places without problems. I do see the 2K clear advantages. My sense is that the silver bits were not truly glossy. I uncrated many enduros of the '70's and do not recall that they were super-super glossy, and don't want to overdo it. I scored a NOS front fender and chaingiard a few years back, and will try to match them for the silver.
