Any idea what where to buy the bearing? I live in Canada and knots anything isn’t available here, along with the gear I need too. I put a drill on the magneto and removed the spark plugs, spun it a couple times slow to be sure and everything seemed fine. Has spark, moved perfectly, didn’t feel loose, has lots of compression. I’m still not sure about the gears because I can’t get my Carrot Fingers in there. Don’t have a magneto puller and can’t locate the screws.

Yamaha should have the bearing...  but honestly I think you might be looking at a bigger project.  It's not likely that just a new bearing will fix it...  case is likely messed up as that bearing shouldn't come out like that...  could be some internal damage as well...  I'd consider splitting the cases and taking a peek inside before buying any parts...

Any idea the size of the needle bearing? Also when I finished splitting the case it looks like a short small needle came out maybe.
