Good to hear that.
I recon you are on the right path with crank seals regarding the smoke.
You'll soon know if the pipes choked up . Thrash it and if you still see smoke a good while after you park it ,then you know as well as i do it probably wants setting on the barbecue for an hour for that crispy smoked aroma to start emanating from either end.
