Hi Rob, the bike looks great. I’m doing a frame up rebuild on the same year/model. My original shocks are in really bad shape cosmetically. I just had the frame powder coated and do not want unattractive shocks going back on the bike. Can anyone recommend a good after market shock for this year/model. I plan on easy/moderate off road.

I brought shocks from yss. They have a broad range of shock specs depending on what you want to use them for and how many $$ you want to spend.

Absolutely loverly you’ve definitely made it your own, works performance shocks are class.
And the fact you liberated it from your Dad is great my daughter keeps telling me she’s going to do the same thing. Well done for daring to be different. The Pictures are Great.
