For the temp sensor you may want to use a bit of thermal paste under that tab to get a good solid readout on it.Looks great ,I love that color you chose.

Getting verry, verry close!

All systems "GO" so a test ride was had. Shifts perfectly, and the DT400 ignition seems to be spot on. Changed the overly stiff Redwing Hammerheads (No worries - they have another home in mind!) to some better matched NOS Redwing progressively sprung peformance shocks. Quite happy with the outcome.






Still need to reinstall the rack and rear blinkers, and a few other loose ends.

I think a black eyebrow on the headlight like the old locomotives had would be a nice touch.I have looked around but don't see anything but chrome.

I will need to do some different headlight ears as it might need to drop down a bit, but I am thinking that would look pretty neat on the front. Maybe even with a rising sun instead of a number . . .

Photobucket misery. I just spent the last hour reloading all of the pics in this thread that were hosted on Photobucket which were not appearing due to their new policy.

There is a link to my seat rebuild thread in the early part of the thread, which is not yet updated, but is next on my list. What a royal pain.
