1975 Yamaha DT 125 Enduro
Theres only two screws the hold the pump in place after removing them just twist the pump will come right off. Keep your eye on a little washer you'll need that.
The oil line reservoir is easy to disconnect from the pump just one small ring wire clamp. Now the other one is a bit tricky I come to find out it has a metal barrel holding the line in place I tried to remove it but just ended up cutting the line instead.

And I actually bought some screwdriver Bit set that'll grip the Phillips heads "JIS" Bit set

Still awaiting new pump

I will be interested in seeing this "new pump".... I understand it is a Chinese replacement and not a new old stock pump from Yamaha.
I have never heard of anyone offering a replacement..

yeah, if you have the original oil pump you should send it to DEET for reworking.
He is the best!
But as of this date..I do not know if he still services oil pumps. Hope he does because I need to contact him. I have 2 to go!

Too try and be fair to DEET but here's an oil pump for a PW50 & the V50 V80 V90 type scooters i grew up fixing scooters.
So i'm not showing a CT2 type but they're up there too.
Our dollars has no value in NZ, yet they offer free shipping on an $11.59 pump.
Price might change if i sign in.
Ok i did sign in then it jumps to $18.79, bit strange, but i often by [junk] off them & never had a problem--just saying.
The mind boggles as to how they make stuff so cheap.

Why not post the link to the CT2 instead of an unrelated model?

I looked around and didn't see one.

HOWEVER... I did see one advertised that it is an exact replacement for any 100cc through 400cc Yamaha.
How can you adjust the output for that large of a range? How does its gearing mesh with multiple pitch-ratio worm gears that are found on all those bikes?
How do you connect the oil supply line when is on the rear of the pump and faces the case it is mounted on?

I guess all these roadblocks don't seem hard to work around when it only costs $18.

Can't wait to see how it all works out.
