Has anyone got a photo, preferably close up, of the original Yamaha rear luggage rack fitted to a DT250 or DT360a please?
I fitted one, but it appears to sit higher at the rear than I remember them.

I know its not what you asked, but the other day I was checking out a 125 rack for my 360. The front 2 mounts will work.
The backside would need fabrication.

I'd like to see how yours is mounted up.

Basically it attaches to the same mounting as the rear indicators and the upper shock absorber mounting bolt

As it happens, I've just fitted one to my own 1974 DT360A. Same mounting points as yours.

Have a look at images on the internet to see how they compare with yours.

I'm not sure that Yamaha offered a rack/buddy seat as an option - I reckon that the majority of the 250/360/400 racks of this era, and earlier, were made by one manufacturer.

I’ve seen a couple of photos, but people seem to remove their rear indicators, maybe it sits a bit lower with them removed.
How did yours compare to mine?
