Autolube Kit from YAMBITS was created by Snowman

Greeting from Canberra Australia,
Can anyone recommend (or not recommend) an Autolube rebuild Kit from YAMBITS for a DT250A.

I am just looking at rebuilding my pump which is not working. It was sitting for unused for 30years, worked a bit initially but now not pumping at all.
I will see if I can check the one-way valve first.

Regards

I would recommend them. I bought one for my 73 RT360 from them and everything matched up spot on. I think you will have an extra seal left over if I remember correctly. I think years 68-73 have 1 of the seals that's smaller/bigger than the 74+ years but don't quote me on that.

Thanks for that, yes I noticed there were four seals in the Kit but only three in the pump!

I would just buy original Yamaha seals via your local dealer, they are still available.

I used the yambits kit on both big blue and  little yeller without any problems.  IIRC you have to buy the check valve ball and spring in an inexpensive separate kit.  Do NOT remove the large black plug from the end of the housing...
