Has anybody tried this Kit for 1974 Yamaha DT250A
Not Mikuni but Japanese made and it does seem to include everything required.

Some have had success with them, but most haven't. Definitely don't mix and match the brass parts, although gaskets might be fine.
You'd be surprised at how much new original Mikuni parts are still out there, via fleabay etc, your bike dealer (doesn't have to be a Yamaha one) and a Mikuni carb specialist.
What are you missing?

I put a Kit through my DT250A Carb of unknown make (not Mikuni), it idled ok but when I rode the bike had no power.
It could be something else but I want to rule out the carby.
After looking back through previous posts I am taking everyone's advice and cleaning up my original Mikuni brass parts and putting them back in, just need to buy Jet setter O ring and gaskets.
Thankyou all for your replies
