Indentation under headlight “on-off” knob was created by StukaGruppen13
Hi all, curious what colour was originally present in the indentation under the headlight switch knob. 1975 DT125B. I want to present this bike as factory as possible and reglorify it properly!
Many thanks!

If you are talking about the square that is uncovered as lights on-off switch is pushed up/forward, the answer is red.

That’s exactly what I’m on about. Thank you, I’ll paint it soon.

If I remember correctly (not guaranteed nowadays!), I've read that some folks here in the UK have used nail varnish (presumably their wife's!

Oh, and I'm fairly certain that the "L" and "H" indents are red as well.

Miniature model paints work just as well! I’ll investigate the Lo/hi indications as well but I don’t think I have them. Just a rectangular indentation besides the knob on the right.

Should have decals for hi-lo and other functions similar (perhaps identical) to these

Also, the turn signal toggle knob top surface may have a recesses with "L R" raised up... the recesses around the "L R" were also filled with red paint.
