Adjusting autolube stroke was created by Dogboy
I do not understand what I am supposed to be checking when checking the adjustment. What in this picture is adjustment plate and what is the raised portion of the pump pulley? What I have marked as I, II and III are they any of them? All the pictures I see are different than mine.

Is what I am supposed to check the difference between the dowel pin and the little tit on the black colored plastic piece?

Haha, just linking the same video then saw already done.
This guy is good for sure & goes to great lengths to explain--well i watched most of it at double speed plus dragging it along coz i know everything--yeah right haha.
I think you might loose sleep after watching it but my thoughts be they right wrong, or rough, are just run the motor & observe the minimum plate stroke at idle & if there's some to view then it'll be ok for now.
Then give it a quick rev & watch the maximum stroke--which you can't alter but it'll look lots.
Be sure the cable & cable roller are free & spring back which should be good to go for now.
When the cable roller is back at idle there should be a mark on the pulley to line up & idealy if the throttle lower cable has minimum play then the carb & the pump pulley should start moving simultaniously but can adjust the oil cable.
Minimum stroke is adjusted by shim washers behind the plate.
Happy to be scalded or corrected on my methods if they're a bit rough.
Could run the union at the cylinder into a small measure & see how much she pumps over say a minute.
Dont ask me how many cc's to expect.
You'd need to block off the cyinder hole & run premix if youre going to experiment running for a while.
Maybe forget that idea.
I see we're still on page #1 so i'm not too far behind on the story.

Thanks to you all but especially papawheelie as my pump looks just like the first one he linked me to and I finally realized that the adjusting plate cover that is on top of the adjusting plate was hiding what I needed to see so by turning the adjusting plate cover from the front facing me to the back where I could not see it I could then see the stroke and wheere to measure it at. I found that it is between .2mm and .24mm. So all is now good. Thanks again to every one.
