I'm looking for pics of a DT250B with its gas tank off was created by Justjim
so I can see how the wire looms are routed and tied down to the lower backebone brace prior to putting the gas tank on.
When I got this bike, the tank was off and the connectors were undone and everthing was just flopping around.
I have the big rubber cup with a wrapped loom full of wires coming from the rear of the bike that houses the connectors from the handlebar area and possibly the flasher???, which I am missing, but is going to have to be put somwhere.
After replacing the points, condensor and coil, and timing the system, I now have a nice spark to the plug and I have bled the oiling system.
Todays task will be to make a bracket for the aftermarket coil and then mix up a small batch of gas/2 stroke oil for my small hanging test tank and see if I can get this bike to make some noise after ??? years.
I'll have the oiler disconnected at first to see how much oil it is putting out.
I'll be doing this while just using the black wire from the magneto, jumpered the the coil to eliminate any possible electrical gremlins, then cross my fingers and shift over to the battery system

Nothing happened. The first question was asked in the "Picture Upload" thread (and you gave an excellent answer!).
Then the OP started a NEW thread with the same question. Very confusing.
