Hi all, can anyone tell me what the plastic is on a 1976 DT175C front fender(high plastic not low metal) is made of. Is it ABS, PE or some other type. I picked up 2 76’ DT 175C’s and am working on making 1 rideable bike. The current bike fender where it’s bolted up to the fender mount is cracked where the bolt goes thru and there’s a small gap along part of the crack. I’d like to either fill the gap and repair the crack possibly with a plastic welder or some filler if there is one that works but I can’t find any info on what those plastic stock fenders were made of. Wanted to post a photo but the site isn’t allowing it at this time

I'm not 100% sure on the 1976 175 fender but I know Yamaha used ABS for fenders and side covers in the 1970's.
