Did you contact HVC to ask about it?
They are the ones making the statement that they fit both bikes.

Haynes, I've got the Yambits cable working pretty well. I'm able to bottom out my slide, but it seems like the lower oil pump cable is a bit long. I've got that adjusted out as near to unthreading from the case cover as I dare go. I may try to find a longer adjusting nut for a tad more pull. The other option would be to have a custom cable set made by Barnett or Motion Pro.

This might work.  Soldier on.   Make your own Generic Sleeve 3mm OD 1.5mm ID   custom length.

Not bad. I'm thinking a slightly longer coupling nut like this (I'll figure out the size/pitch) will work to stretch the cable and allow me to get the oil pump wide open when I'm on the the throttle.
