Hi,

My intake manifold looks to be in good shape although when I removed it today it looks like some fuel/vapour has been leaking between the rubber manifold and the 'Reed cage'.
Has anyone tried placing a gasket between these two surfaces as I guess there should be absolutely nothing escaping there?
Or does it mean I need to replace it?

I put permatex motoseal sometimes to try and save the situation
