Good Morning Everyone,
I did like you said Ht1kid, I put the light on and rotated the flywheel counter clockwise until tdc, then clockwise to 3.2 , the light was still bright so the I loosened the point screw and moved it one way and the other and i noticed the light go dim so i tightened up the screw , i looked down at the timing mark on the flywheel and noticed it was in line with the tang on the lighting coil , so to check , i turned the flywheel back to tdc and then turned it clockwise again to 3.2 and the light went dim and the mark on the flywheel and tang were in line. You guys really helped me out again. I appreciate it.
I've never done points ignition , on my old triumph bikes, I converted them all to electronic ingnitions so never learned points . Next thing I gotta do is figure out how to donate to the forum.
Thanks again you guys , hope you all have a great day.

Hello Everyone, I'm wondering about the headlight plug connections. In the picture my plug has 2 black female connectors .
From my harness into the headlight is a black triple connector , which is currently full, im wondering about grounding my voltage regulator to one of the black female connectors on the headlight plug, or, should the ground from the regulator go into the triple black female connector from the main harness and the blacks from the Speedo & tach be plugged into the black female connectors on the headlight plug.
greatly appreciate all your help

Also, the male black bullet on the headlight plug , am I correct to assume it would plug into the black triple female from the main harness , essentially giving more places to plug in black grounds?
Thanks again
Thanks again
