DT125B Battery Recommendation was created by Vinduroman

My battery has gone kaput.

What are my options?

Any input would be very much appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks Airborne;

I have had this type of battery suggested on another forum:

Motobatt ebay

However, the old standby is the Yuasa brand for it like this:

Yuasa ebay

The Motobatt has something like 11 amphrs.

Can't find a spec on the Yuasa.

I would prefer to get the most cranking power I can find that will fit and survive motorcycle environs. (Vibration, shock, etc.)

EDIT: Looks like links are verboten.

I didn't look too far into the feebay page but I've bought a Yuasa battery off there before for my DT175, maybe in the search specify Yuasa and see what comes up.

Not forbidden here. Ebay now blocks "hotlinking" which is why a direct link won't show up.

I fixed your links by using the "insert link" function.

Pretty sure stock Yuasa battery is 7ah

Sorry for being so long getting back to this, but Wild Child and I left this morning with the trailer loaded with our (modern) bikes and we rode all day up in the Ozarks. Just got home about an hour ago and I'm just seated and getting caught up.

Thanks Mark for the assist.

On the experience of a fellow Vinduro member that is using one of the Motobatt units, I went with it. Hope I made a good choice.

Thanks to all that offered input.
