I tried mocking it up and that is when i noticed the fins were hitting some stuff the 125 cylinder didn't, but I never tried bolting it down and installing the carb. If the carb pad is in the same location it maybe ok, I just didn't get that far when I had it apart.

Ae you able to tell what year it is from those numbers? I looked over it again I noticed there is a spot for the oil injection at the base of the cylinder but it is not drilled and tapped which makes me wonder if it is from a different year that 74/75 or maybe a different model that didn't have oil injection. I can't find my Clymer manual that has the port heights to try and check where these are

If cylinder isn't tapped for oil injection it's a 1976 DT175C
