1975 DT175B right crank bearing too loose? was created by jeffjeffjeff
I'm rebuilding an engine and have installed the right crank bearing in the right case.
The right side of the crank slides in to the bearing pretty easily with just a little hand pressure.
The crank is in good shape and only had about 1,500K miles.
I'm sure this is the correct bearing: yambits.co.uk/dt175-usa-twinshock-crank-...t-koyo-p-159701.html.
Is it normal for the crank to go in to the bearing with such ease? I thought I would have to use the install tool.

Yes, slip fit. Nut on that side clamps crank to bearing.
