A long time ago. I had a 1983 Honda CR 125. My friend Mike had a 1985 Honda CR 250. I remember riding his bike at approximately 65 or 70 miles an hour in the dirt and it did have head shake. I think what we’re talking about here is a tire pressure problem? I believe 30 or 35 pounds upfront is too much. It’s always a good idea to take your time when you’re doing the headset triple clamps - make sure you have it feeling exactly the way you want it before you climb on that sucker.

I just looked at the service manual for my DT400 (had it open so it was easier to look at than my DT2), front tire should be 17lbs, I'm pretty darn sure my DT2 is the same...

Ditch the Thermal Flow rear shox.
Add some inches to the rear shox.
5+ inches of trail is 'diculous on any bike(30.5° rake)

I agree that if you reduced the pressure a bit it might ride better, but I'd love to see a picture of that EV motorcycle! I know in my motorhome, which is very heavy, if I run too high of pressure in the front tires it gets squirrely.

If you run it too soft it'll resist going around corners as flattens out the shape rather than a curved surface. Just don't overdo it.
