Autolube Pump pulley spring replacement was created by Lobnibibi

Hi all, I’m working on a 76 DT175C, and the pulley return spring on the autolube pump is broken. I’ve been searching around all the parts houses but nobody’s diagram shows the spring, and those that do (HVC, who calls it an adjust pulley spring) don’t seem to sell a replacement. Is this replaceable? Or am I just going to deal with whatever hardware store nonsense I can stuff in there?

thanks

You might try contacting DEET...  he rebuilds a lot of pumps and may have a spare used spring?

Here's a part number I have for a pump spring that you might find on ebay or someplace.  Not specifically for your bike but from a similar Yamaha pump off an older model.  90508-10216-00

Thanks, I found one on yambits that crosses to an RD350, so I’m hopeful it will fit. Otherwise I’ll contact DEET. Also looking on eBay. Thanks for the PN
