DT125 1974 was created by matwom

Hi guys
hope you can help me with this issue , I’m not very good with electrics so bare with me on this , I have a 1974 dt125 with electric start and I’m trying to sort the fly wheel area of the electrics out , I managed to strip it all out but it is very rusted and most the screws won’t move , I’ll attach some photos, my thoughts are that they may be to far gone to use ?
does anyone now if there’s a part I can buy a more modern part to put in place of the old , any help would be great as in lost , thank you guys

Powerdynamo/Vape makes a new magneto ignition.  You won't have electric starter though.

Should be this one.  Buying from VAPE is usually cheaper.

You'd be surprised what works. Free up the brushes & give her a go. Can't beat electric start & 12 volt lights if it works.
Bike looks nice & love that color. I had one identical about 30 years ago in good original condition.

Hi mate
I agree but these seem they would be to much hassle to me and I just want to get her on the road and enjoy her now , Iv ordered the new system so should be more reliable, Iv stuck to original electrics on other bikes Iv restored and Iv had nothing but issues with them , cheers mate
