seems to me most of my bikes of this era would open with any old key put just barely in the key slot (or a flat head screwdriver or paper clip or penny). Are you wanting to replace it just so you don't have to use a key? If that's the case I think it's far easier to open it with the keyed type (as shown above) rather than a screw off or button push style from earlier models. Just put your flat head device of preference and pop it open. My two cents (or one cent really).
