Here's the original story on that nice 400 with the 250 decals...  I think it's come up a few times in other threads too.

You can be with Deet. This bike came with the tank and 250 stickers new from Blalock cycles in Wheaton, Md in 1976. I welcome any one to come check it out and prove me wrong. I'm in Gaithersburg, Md.

I'm not weighing in on anything but this is just a gorgeous bike. Someday, the stars will lineup and I'll have another one. As long as it's a 75 or 76 400 it can say DT4000 for all I care.
