Saw this one on marketplace, I liked it because it was very complete and looked like it hadn’t been messed with too much. That and 76 was apparently the last year of the enduro before they got the squared off ugly looking gas tank I like the 21” front wheel too and it just had new tires, tubes and brakes put on it. PO said it ran but had been sitting a few years. It has 6000 miles on the clock so getting a little long in the tooth but I got it home, cleaned out the tank, petcock and carb, threw a battery charger on it and it started right up. Runs pretty good too even though it has a Chinese carb on it. PO said he has the original Mikuni and is mailing it to me.  So far this one hasn’t put up much of a fight but the throttle cable was hanging by a thread and broke off so had to order a new one. I rigged up one for now for testing purposes though. The clutch was stuck so went in and took care of it, everything inside looked nice and clean. The gear box was filled to the top with oil and when I took the oil pump cover off at least a half a quart of 2 stroke oil came pouring  out. I think it was just a loose fitting hose with no clamp that caused it though. I ordered a new air filter and a battery and need to get a rebuild kit for the oil pump. Also need to keep an eye out for a seat pan, the left side of this one is rusted away. Otherwise it just needs the horn fixed, headlight only has high beam, the signals aren’t flashing and it needs to be cleaned up a bunch.
