Stator Question was created by kwzl1

8 months into refurbishing my 1975 DT175. Have everything finally working except charging. Bike runs, lights work, but after a few minutes of running, the battery is dead.
Tested voltage with multimeter, and it is not charging. Battery is new, rectifier is new and tests ok. Headlight switch works. I'm guessing there is a problem with the stator.
When I got the bike it wasn't running, and the stator was in a box. The wiring was all cobbled up. I fixed all the bad connections and cleaned up the wiring. Got the bike running and headlight working. All other electrical works until the battery dies.
I am wondering if I have the right stator for this bike. I have compared it with pictures I found online, and there are some differences.
I am attaching two photos. The first one shows my stator. The "lighting/charging" coil on mine (with green and green/red wires) has two wires coming from the coil attached to the coil mounting screw. (Circled in green). The source coil for the ignition has one coil wire attached to a mounting screw. (Circled in red.) The lighting coil (red circle with "x") has no connections to the screw.
The second picture is what I found online.   The green circled area has no coil wire connection to the screw, as mine does. The red circled areas show a wire from the lighting coil and source coil each connected to a mounting screw. Can anyone help me determine if my stator is correct or not?
Thanks!
