Giving the DT360 a few fresh ups I removed the compression release just for a good cleaning.I didn’t disassemble the unit but just removed it whole and noticed there no actual spring that returns it to “closed”.   didn’t notice on parts diagram either.   It this closed by compression?(it’s never been hooked up-the cable is there on the kicker but it’s always been just zip tied to frame up front).     Thanks

Thanks for the input.  I removed the cotter key & 6mm nut before I took it off the jug,the spring seems to work as far as returning cable to out stretch postition-just didn’t notice it had any affect on valve itself. Better get an o ring & disassemble further.   Thanks.  My couple week fix up is turning into an all summer project (what’s new)
