DT360 fuel tank, locating damper, what's it do?

Smart to replace it.  It doesn't matter that the other points have rubber...  a tank without a good damper block under it will eventually crack the seam near the rear mount.

I agree with Mark
I don't think these clever engineers designed and built a mold to pop out these rubber things at considerable expense if they were not critical
