Trying to get a title to my 1975 Yamaha DT125B . Can't see my VIn # because the cables rubbed most of it out . Can someone with a good vin on a 75 DT125B HELP WITH THE FGIRST 6 LETTERS OR NUMBERS SO i CAN TRY TO FIND MY VIN#

It should also be stamped into one side of the headstock - I'd be surprised if the cables would rub this away. Could you post photos of both sides of the headstock?

Alternatively, the engine and frame number would originally have been the same. If the engine hasn't been changed, then the engine number is your VIN number (what characters you can see should match with the equivalent characters of the engine number).

Yup.  Decal is not too important.  Stamping in frame is what they go by.

If you eventually want a new decal, DEET makes nice reproductions.
