Are the exhausts on these two models the same?

is the 498-14610 the same as the 500-14610?

For the 500 part number, the CMSNL website shows the following narrative. I am not familar enough with the models to know what any differences are.

Someone once theorized here that the difference is only the size of the bolt holes in the flange that mounts to the cylinder.
