The phillips head screws that thread in from underneath my switch assemblies are stripped. The service manual days they are pan head screws but doesn't give specs. Does anyone know the source for those screws, like the type of screw, length, thread information?  I'd like to find replacement ones.

If you have the old ones, you should be able to measure them. Pitch will be industry standard for the diameter of the screw.

By the way, it is likely that, originally, they will have been Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS), not Phillips.

You didn't mention what bike you working on but sometimes the parts diagrams show them and Yamaha still sells some (but expensive).  Most are 5mm...  a few different lengths were used but you can measure yours or match them up at a good hardware store.
