Replacement foot pegs for 1976 Dt 400 was created by Iampops

Has anyone found a replacement for the OEM pegs that provides a bigger foot bed?

Buy a 2nd set.   Cut them in 2 pieces and weld the end on the old one might work.

Next…196x-197x Yamaha something.

There's several threads on this...  from stock PW50 pegs to cheap aluminum pegs have been used...  (cheap aluminum ones might break)

If you don't mind the look, or are a better fabricator than I, you could try this:

yamaha-enduros.com/index.php/forums/1977...-for-77-and-up#29765

Go to post #9 which shows the picture of what I did. IF you want a nicer look and feel, spend the money at CycleGear and get a set of these:

IF it isn't one thing, it's another.
