That's interesting, but for float levels to be so different--250 to 400--the carbs must be quite different in depth like a deeper float bowl, larger carburettor, if they run the same float system or does one have floats on the arm not floats on pegs to slide up.

yeah, think so. 28 vs 32mm carb, everything seems to be a bit bigger.
