Need picture of where this clip goes for holding the throttle cable was created by AirborneSilva
Hey all, when I was installing my 12 volt system on my 76 DT400 I somehow knocked this clip, picture below, off and can't quite figure out where it goes, I know it's for holding the throttle cable. If anyone could please post a picture for me it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Tony

On a DT 360 it slips over the circled area in the pic below. Imagine it's the same on your bike.

For the experts, here, when did that little number start appearing on the Enduros, and what bikes should have it? I've never seen one.

I don't know for sure but my guess is 1974... Yamaha finally got tired of people routing the throttle cable over the tank mount instead of under it is my guess.

It's a 438.... part number and looking at what (poor) info is available on Partzilla and CMSNL, it was only used on the DT250/360/400s from 1974, 1975 and 1976.
