No, no, and no.

Check the number stamped in that DT400 one though... might get lucky and it's a 250 flywheel. Service manual has ignition model numbers listed if I remember correctly.

P.S. 250 flywheel has points cam... 400 is CDI and doesn't.

Yes, that's it!

Flywheel will have something like FOTO 1971 on it.... some of the "O's" or "0's" might be missing but it will be similar to that long number.

2171 will be a 400 flywheel without the needed points cam.

Ya, only one on eBay right now reads FO7O2173 and I'm looking for FOOOTO1971. I guess the search continues. I can't afford powerdynamo so I guess I'll just be grateful I have a stator? :)

That's and HPI. Internal rotor which I would not recommend on a 400 (or any enduro) and it's ignition only. No lighting or battery charging.

I have a buddy with a DT400 that came with no stator/flywheel and he's doing a "mx" build on it, no lights or battery. Thought it may be a good option for him considering price.

Others have more experience but I personally don't care for big bore bikes with light flywheels.

They are harder to start. Stall much easier. And tend to spin the rear tire way too much.

Got the oem woodruff, 74' dt250 stator on the way, looking to order new points for it. MAY have a line on flywheel but still pending. Is there anything else I can do to make sure I'm s.o.l. with bad pulsar? CDI that came with bike creates no spark, old CDI I had from my 76' does, new woodruff and tight flywheel all cleaned up still wicked kickback. Just be patient for a flywheel? Look at where the stator is mounted in the slots? Just wanna make sure I've exhausted efforts with what I have. I do not know how to test the applicable items in question.
